Edison PTO

About the PTO

The function of the PTO is for parents and the school staff to work together in making our school a better place for all of our students. We have a variety of fundraising events throughout the year. Monies generated help to offset field trip costs, pay for assemblies, purchase gym and playground equipment, purchase books for our library, just to name a few. In addition, our PTO paid for the murals in our gym, our Edison Eagle Mascot, and the water cooler in our main hallway.

Fundraising Events

Fundraising events are to be announced as they are organized.

If you shop at Target & have a Target Red Card, you can sign up for "Take Charge of Education" and designate Edison to receive up to 1% of your Red Card purchases. Enter code #61707.

If you shop at Kroger & have a Kroger Plus Card, you can designate Edison to receive Community Rewards. (You need to reapply each year). Go to www.kroger.com to create an account or to sign in. Go to My Account, Go to Community Rewards. Go to Edit Community Rewards -- Edison Elementary - organization number #90225. 

The PTO sponsors a number of events that are non-fundraising: Santa Shoppe, FHS swim night, skating parties, school clubs, and our end-of-the-year School Picnic.

(Meetings start at 6:30 pm unless otherwise noted and take place in our Media Center. FREE babysitting is also provided at all PTO meetings)
